Manic Monday

Well the weekend was WAY too short, and here it is Monday again. Although the way my weekend went it’s a good thing it wasn’t any longer…heh. Have you ever had one of those weekends that stressed you out so bad that you needed another weekend just to recuperate from it? I’m sitting here trying to think of something intelligent to write, and I’ve got to tell ya I’m coming up empty. Okay watch it Drago I know what you’re thinking! Maybe after I’ve had a couple POTS of coffee and smoke a few PACKS of cigarettes something will come to me….then again maybe I’ll need medical intervention!

  1. I can’t think of anything either. I’m tired, I have a 3 page report to write and I need to get ready for the music club Hallween party tonight, not to mention that the birds are screeching and the dogs are being ornery and wanting to wrestle in the house.

  2. Not to worry, sweetpie. Take you pot of coffe and packet of sigarets and calm down. This happens to all of us from time to time. Geeez. . . my fingers go in cramp from time to time. I have also started writing on my next book.
In that matter i have put a rule for myself. . . 2 hours writing in the morning and 2 hours writing in the evening.
The third book’s context also starts to appear in my mind. I write notes only for that one, though.

  3. Thanks Kirsten…any suggestions help. 🙂 And of course coffee.

  4. Oy, now I have that damned song stuck in my head.

    Six o’clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
    I was kissin’ Valentino
By a crystal blue Italian stream

    But I can’t be late
‘Cause then I guess I just won’t get paid
    These are the days
When you wish your bed was already made

    It’s just another manic Monday
    I wish it was Sunday
    ‘Cause that’s my funday
My I don’t have to runday
    It’s just another manic Monday

Have to catch an early train
Got to be to work by nine
And if I had an air-o-plane
I still couldn’t make it on time

‘Cause it takes me so long
Just to figure out what I’m gonna wear
    Blame it on the train
But the boss is already there

    All of the nights
Why did my lover have to pick last night
    To get down
    Doesn’t it matter
That I have to feed the both of us
    Employment’s down

He tells me in his bedroom voice
C’mon honey, let’s go make some noise
    Time it goes so fast
    When you’re having fun

Oh, no! Now you have it stuck in your head? Oh, Geeze, I’m sorry.
