Well it’s Monday and can I say “Thank god”…YES the house is quiet once again now that the kids and Jose are off to work and school. This past weekend was kind of boring, although I did make a trip to the library and check out 3 books, 2 of which were Stephen King novels. Jose keeps telling me I should read something worthwhile like “how-to” manuals or self improvement books, but to be honest I haven’t been able to read those since college. I think I got burned out on them…Now I just want to read for pleasure.

Dragon and I spoke on the phone last week and decided that we hated all of the people who are probably going to be on the ballot for the Presidential election. So we’ve decided that we should do an on-line campaign and I should run. 🙂  Dragon said she could be my campaign manager and she could have toilet paper rolls made up that said “Vote Goldbloom…She’ll help your @ss out!” I’d vote for me…maybe!

Well we have another winter storm heading our way and the temperature this morning registered “friggin cold” on the thermometer. Of course the boys couldn’t find their gloves, and I think we’re on pair number 3 for each of them this winter. I should just start buying them by the case, because I know they’re going to lose them. Well that’s all I have for now, maybe I’ll have something a little more exciting next time.
